ATI, technology newer

Some things we all see sometimes is the constant new computer parts coming out. ATI's newish technology is the AM3. Some of the motherboards seem to also come with Crossfire technology, I have wondered what it means. If a motherboards supports it, don't expect it to be able to use SLI or any Geforce cards. I'm not fully sure if you could use Geforce on a Crossfire supported motherboard. Crossfire basically means you can have more than 1 crossfire supported graphics card and you can make them work together. This is possibly done by a bridge type connection and Crossfire supposedly means you can connect different Radeon cards (ATI). I think the cards themselves have to at least support Crossfire. If a motherboard is Crossfire compatible, make sure that, if you use 3+ ATI cards, ig they don't go down to a slower motherboard speed. You also seem to be getting Hypertransport 3, but it might start to get relatively old. They now have 3 and quad for their processors. The motherboards that support AMD processors will probably come out with technology for the ATI cards specifically. If you look for a decent graphics card, search for HD4850 cards. Very good card at the moment is the ATi Radeon HD48770 x2. If you are looking for a power supply make sure it is relatively high in watts, like 700W for decent systems. If you look for a motherboard, try one that supports AM3 processors.
